In the fall of 2005, Hampton State Bank launched its unique economic development initiative, Come Home to Franklin County®. The program offered $1 million in below market rate loans and other financial benefits to graduates of high schools located in Franklin County -- West Fork (formerly Sheffield-Chapin-Meservey-Thornton), Hampton-Dumont, and CAL Community School, approximately 7,360 individuals -- to entice them to return to live in Franklin County. In March 2010, the original goal was reached and Hampton State Bank announced their commitment to another $1 million in below market rate loans. READ MORE
