Michelle Schaefer has a
big responsibility when the bank's statement, "Working Smarter
for You!" is based on staff performance and customer
satisfaction. No sweat for Michelle, who is a 33-year banking
veteran and has held various positions at Hampton State Bank
including Teller, Receptionist, Customer Service, and her current
position as Assistant Cashier.
Michelle's efforts have not gone unnoticed as she was awarded the
Outstanding Customer Service Award in 1999 from the Hampton Area
Chamber of Commerce.
In addition to
her customer service responsibilities, Michelle is the bank's IRA
specialist, assisting customers with all their retirement account
needs.
To keep up
with the latest banking trends, Michelle regularly seeks training to
enhance her skills including IRA seminars for yearly updates.
She has also taken part in Exceptional Banker Courses, a Phone
Manners Seminar, Generation Banking Seminar and Hospitality
Training. Michelle is also a Leadership Challenge graduate.
Outside of
Hampton State Bank, Michelle is involved in numerous community
activities. She is a member of the Hampton 2017 Planning
Committee, Hampton Retail Committee, American Legion Auxiliary member, Hampton Lions Club
treasurer and board member, and a Red Hat Society member. Michelle and
her family are members of St. Patrick's Catholic Church, where she
has taught fourth grade and preschool Catechism.
At
Hampton State Bank, we're working smarter for you!
