Charles Willms
Vice President of Real Estate and Consumer Lending

Charlie brings a diversified range of banking experience to his HSB position of Vice President of Real Estate and Consumer Lending.

A native of Hampton, graduating with the Hampton High School Class of 1979,  Charlie

earned a B.A. degree from Buena Vista University in Management Systems and Personnel in 1983.  Charlie has 26 years of banking experience ranging from loan officer, assistant manager, branch manager, and vice president with his main focus being real estate and consumer lending.  

Charlie has completed training at the Iowa Bankers Consumer Lending School, Iowa Bankers Commercial Lending School, and AIB Real Estate Lending School.

In the community, Charlie is Vice Presdient of the Hampton
Kiwanis and serves on the board. He also serves on the
Hampton Area Chamber of Commerce board and is involved in the Franklin General Hospital capital campaign in 2010. Charlie has served on the Hampton 2017 Planning Committee. He has been active on church council, held several leadership positions in Lions Club, Chamber board and vice president, committee member for the welcome center in Lamoni, Hamilton-Wright County board of realtors, and Main Street committee.

Charlie has been a Pinnacle award winner at his former employer and a service excellence winner.

Upon his return to Hampton in 2005, Charlie stated, "I look forward to helping further the development and prosperity of Franklin County and Hampton through my work at the bank and through volunteering in the community."

Charlie and his wife, Cindy, have two children, Letha and Joey.
