A veteran
agricultural banker, Blaine Lenz joined Hampton State Bank in 1999
as Senior Vice President to provide enhanced services for
agriculture and business customers. Blaine brings extensive
knowledge and more than 30 years of experience to his position in financing
all types of agribusiness enterprises, with special expertise in
financing farm real estate. Clients look to Blaine as a
valuable resource for their operations.
Blaine works
smart for you through continuing education, the use of advanced technology, and
membership in major producer organizations. Ongoing education
includes Iowa
Bankers Association courses and seminars, USDA Farm Service Agency
and U.S. Small Business Administration training, and ISU Extension
seminars. He can analyze your business financial records using ECI Equity
Manager. Blaine is a past
member of the American Society of Farm Managers and Rural Appraisers
with extensive experience in farm real estate sales,
appraisal, and farm management.
Outside of
Hampton State Bank, Blaine has taken a leadership role in numerous
community organizations including president of Franklin
County Development Association and Ag Committee
member and Ambassador for the Hampton Area Chamber of Commerce. He served as the 2002-2003
President of the Hampton Rotary Club. Blaine has also
supported the
development of tomorrow's producers by serving as Chairman of the
Hampton-Dumont FFA Advisory Committee and Treasurer for the FFA's
Tall Corn Alumni Association.
Blaine grew up
on his family's farm in Hamilton County, Iowa and earned a B.S.
degree from Iowa State University in Agricultural Business with a
minor in Finance.
